Weston Body Hardware Heritage

The company was formed in 1984 by Peter Weston.

Our historical product range of locks, latches, handles & hinges were predominantly aligned to the British Motor Industry, supporting iconic brand names such as Aston Martin, Austin Rover, ERF truck, Jaguar, Land Rover, Leyland Bus, Lotus, and Morgan to name just a few.

The company has stayed true to its roots over the years with a close connection to the transport market, extending its capabilities along the way. This now also includes many customers in a wide range of sectors such as; off highway, commercial vehicles, bus & coach, rail, marine, specialist vehicles, military and the power generation market.

In May 2015 Weston Body Hardware was acquired by the Happich group, a Pelzer Family Company. This brought a new investment to the company which has seen us align closely with Happich’s family-run business ethos and go from strength to strength.
